The statement added that the purpose of such illogical actions of ED against the pro-freedom leaders like Shabir Ahmad Shah, Dr, Bilqees Shah, Moahhad Aslam Wani and Zamir Ahmad Sheikh is to prolong their detention and creat a frightful atmosphere among other pro-freedom activists

The Veteran leader also condemned the unnecessary harassment caused to the another incarcerated Hurriyat leader Gh. Mohammad Khan Sopori at Kortbalwal Jail by the enforce department. The statement added that Khan Sopori was forced to leave his residential house at Chanpora Srinagar and the case is subjudice so the ED has no logic to victimize him in the jail premises.

The pro-freedom leader paid rich tributes to the Martyrs of Nowgam Abu Ismail and Chota Qasim and prayed for their eternal peace.

Hurriyat Chief Spokesman in a statement said that a peaceful protest march was organized by Hurriyat Conference, which was led by Bashir Ahmad Qureshi. Senior Hurriyat leaders Molvi Bashir Irfani, Nisar Hussain Rather, Mohammad Yasin Atai, Syed Mohammad Shafi, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Rafiq Owasi, Mudasir Nadvi also attended the protest march, which was organized against the sinister designs of India to change the Muslim majority demography of the state, forced displacement and killing of Rohangiya Muslims and against the frequent raids of NIA in Kashmir.
